Singular value decomposition and adaptive noise reduction for SQUID-based magnetocardiograms

Abstract: This paper shows that the environmental noise in the HTc rf-SQUID-based quasi-periodic magnetocardiograms (MCGs) can be reduced by singular value decomposition (SVD) and adaptive filtering without the reference channel input. Numerical simulation studies indicate that the method is an effective noise suppresser for one channel MCGs.
