Abstract: A class of coupled system of the El Niño-southern oscillation mechanism is studied. Using the singular perturbation theory and method, the outer solution and the initial layer corrective term of the model are solved. And then, the asymptotic expansion of the solution for the problem is obtained and the asymptotic behavior of solution is considered.
