Due to the interaction of C-atom with Ni-atom, Ni3C was observed after vapor deposition of Ni on graphite surface. The C 2px,y orbital is raised up to 5eV below the Fermi lever, while the C 2px orbital is approaching the Fermi lever closely after formation of Ni3C.
