  • An order-disorder phase diagram of fcc FexCu1-x binary alloy system was obtained by using tetrahedron cluster variation method with nearest-neighbour interaction. A calculation of lattice parameters as functions of composition and temperature in the phase transition region was carried out. The results showed that the formation of an amorphous phasl in the FE-CU system is probably attributed to the lattice distortion.
