磁场对氩原子ArI5p3/22能态碰撞消激发与碰撞消取向的影响

  • 在空心阴极放电激光诱导荧光实验中,当加强外磁场于观察方向,采用“魔角”激发,对氩原子ArI5p[3/2]2能态,外磁场强度越强,则碰撞消激发速率越快,而碰撞消取向速率反而越慢,其总的效果是导致弛豫曲线的衰减速率随磁场强度增强而变缓.ArI5p[3/2]2的自然能级寿命在不加外磁场情况下为120±5ns.

     

    In hollow cathode discharge laser induced fluorescence experiment,when a strong external magnetic field is applied in the direction of observation and “magic angle” excitation method is adopted,to ArI5p3/22,we find that the stronger the magnetic field,the faster the collision depopulation rates,but the slower the collision disalignment rates.On the whole,the decay rates of the curves become slower with the increase of the magnetic field strength.The natural lifetime of ArI5p3/22 was measured to be 120±5ns under the condition without an external magnetic field.
