We have measured the thermo-optic coefficient dn/dT and the thermal-induced index of refraction n２ of PbS nanoparticles in organosol with the single beam Z-scan technique. The optical limiting properties of PbS nanoparticles were studied under continuous wave laser illumination. Finally, the results obtained were analyzed and discussed.
