In order to investigate the non-equilibrium features in first order phase transition driven by a linear temperature field, the equilibrium free energy of the phase transition system was modified with an additional term, which is related to dη/dT or dη/dt. On the basis of the numerical solutions, the asymmetrical hysteresis behavior has been discussed.
