    Dynamics of zonal flow excitation in tokamak plasmas is investigated based on th e re sistive interchange mode turbulence. Employing lowfreedom approach, the resist i ve interchange mode turbulencezonal flow system is solved both analytically an d numerically. Our results show that the largescale zonal flow or oscillating z o nal flow can be excited in the case of sufficiently high pressure gradient (driv ing force).
