    A new and simple method of preparing the flexible YBCO/Polyacrylonitrile (PAN) thick film which is not dependent on substrate structure is reported. It is found that, when the PAN content increases from zero to 10wt%, the superconducting critical temperature (Tc) of all the YBCO/PAN specimens lies in the 900—920 K interval, and the specimens show good superconductivity. Moreover, when the PAN content is up to 10wt%, the YBCO/PAN hybridized film shows a certain degree of flexibility. The thickness of the film is about 35μm, and the critical current density (Jc) of the film is 29×104Acm-2 at (1 T, 10 K) and 46×103Acm-2 at (1 T, 40 K). The YBCO/PAN hybridized film, prepared without being treated at high temperature, is hopeful for application in electronics field.
